mhash and php-mhash

Mhash is a free (under GNU Lesser GPL) library which provides a uniform interface to a large number of hash algorithms. These algorithms can be used to compute checksums, message digests, and other signatures. For more information on mhash, see the mhash project website.

To enable mhash support in your PHP download and install mhash and php-mhash RPMs for your distribution:

If you want to rebuild these RPMs yourself, download the source files from the SourceForge File Release System. In addition to the nosrc.rpm-s you'll need PHP source tarball (tar.bz) used in your distribution.
