APC: Alternative PHP Cache

APC is a PECL project that is another PHP Intermediate code cache, like phpa and Turck MMCache. Which of the three is better for you largely depends on the application that you are running. Please note that php-APC RPM conflicts with php-accelerator.

See http://pecl.php.net/package/APC for more information on APC

You don't need any additional libraries to enable APC support in your PHP, just one of the RPMs below:

If you want to rebuild these RPMs yourself, download the source files from the SourceForge File Release System. In addition to the nosrc.rpm-s you'll need PHP source tarball (tar.bz) used in your distribution.
